Honorary Dish of the Day: Decadent Almond Double Dark Chocolate Cake

Honorary Dish of the Day: Serving up this absolutely gorgeous and delicious Decadent Almond Double Dark Chocolate Cake as our honorary dish of the day today! Who can resist the heavenly flavor of chocolate? This cake recipe delivers all that and then some. As you may be able to tell, I made this beautiful cake using my Fall-themed bundt cake pan which has admittedly become one of my favorite go-to baking tools in my kitchen. I used a store-bought double dark chocolate cake mix for this recipe, and elevated my batter by adding a blend of spices including cinnamon, a dash of pumpkin spice, and a mix of some black pepper with a very tiny sprinkle of cayenne pepper to provide that extra warm, spicy kick with every bite. After lightly greasing my beloved bundt cake pan with some olive oil spray, I sprinkled a generous amount of chopped almonds at the bottom before pouring the batter in to ensure the cake would form a beautiful layer of almonds at the top as shown in the picture above. Finally, I baked this cake at 350℉ for about 30 minutes and let it rest for another half hour before serving. Best enjoyed with a hot beverage like tea or coffee or as a delectable dessert with a generous scoop of ice cream. Enjoy! 😍😊
